No it is something we are creating for the excitement of speed skating and an addition to our meet. We hope to bring a variety of young and older skaters, beginners and accomplished skaters to the public which will be on the internet, http://tvmr.com/store.html , it has nothing to do with the NSC but we do wish them well and much success. Go to http://www.precisioninlineracing.com for more information please.

I have gotten alot of questions about "Just what is this "Main Event Mayhem"?" Well, Since www.TVMR.com will be there filiming the event, we figured that the folkes at home wanted to watch some interesting racing! Friday afternoon/evening is the 100mm Time trial, 3 person sprint races, along with the 4 person events. The race that is being added is the Main Event Mayhem that we came up with.

What this event consists of is, 2 races, Sophmore and up, Male and Female, one Half mile race (800m), and one Mile race (1600m). Entry is $25, $20 of that is going back to the placments. Top honers will be crowned with a very unique and special award. Anyone within the ages of Spohmore and up can enter, if you fel like you could be apart of the "Main event". These races will have some exciting additions the day of, and the energy of the finals will be amazing!

Who will be the Top dog at the first "Main event? We will know in 6 weeks!

Dont forget to plan to be in Georgia for the St. Paddys Speed Weekend!!! It is always an awsome event, with over 325 skaters last year, and working on some suprises this year, You DONT want to miss it!

The First race of the season that Provides Indoor Short track and Outdoor Road racing, it is a weekend not to miss!!!

27 days to go, that’s less than a month, do hope all will be ready because after the March meet there are only a few more that you can prepare for the regional competition in May. Skate hard turn left. Hope to see you on the 19th of March.

Mr. B, Looking forward to attending as always this year. One of the best meets of the year and always fun to be in HOt-Lanta with you the crew.
This year I look forward to bring you some exciting fun as POWERSLIDE will be there in Force with International Superstar and World Champion KALON DOBBIN coming all the way from New Zealand to join us in Atlanta as well as The Tampa Classic this year and from what I understand, Kalon says to tell the USA Boys that "this KIWI Has a little something this year for them on the Indoor Scene"!
If you have not made your plans, this is a for sure meet not to miss in the circuit of important Meets of the year. Also Broadcast Live on the internet at www.skatersplace.com.

Thanks Joe, and as always we thank you for the support. Glad to see Kalon is coming over and I know he will bring his A Game. This will be a great warm up for him and the crew from Columbia that will be here to prepare for the Tampa Classic. I got my packet yesterday for the 32nd Annual Tampa Classic. Two great meets back to back getting ready for most regional’s in May. Good luck to Joe Cotter and his group this week end in Wichita KS. And the Battle of Seattle the next week end. Boy back to back to back events. Please go somewhere to support these events or we may not have them in the future.

Cant wait mr.B just have to decide if I wanna take friday off so I can make it there friday or not, but also don't forget about the Easter Classic that the Rolling Warriors are Hosting in Salisbury NC, with a outdoor portion to. This event will be great for those that can't make the drive to FL, but still want to have some good competition. So there is plenty of racing for every one to go to.

Mr. B, I am trying to get some of the WIC skaters from the canceled WIC race in Cartagena to come early and attend this race with us as well as the Tampa Classic which falls on the same days as the WIC. I know already Kalon Dobbin will for sure be with us there to represent POWERSLIDE as well as our USA Team and Stardust as well!

Jimmy-

I haven't read this post in detail so if it's already in here, forgive me.... but are there host hotels for this meet? My family and I are coming but with a lot going on lately I pretty much forgot I need a place to stay.

Also, if any of the few going from Ultimate Speed reads this, where are you guys staying?

Thanks,
Jeff

Trophies and Plaques are being finished up right now, all the giveaway product is starting to come in, and it looks like this year will have a few new faces that have never raced the full event, adn you DONT want to miss them race!!

with a 90ft wide floor, this will be the biggest, and fastest floor to race on this year besides the battle in seattle that finished up last week! Who will be getting the time trial crown? Who will come out on top for the main even mayhem? who has braved the cold this winter to get some skating in outside, to take top honers for the outdoor portion? 8 days and we will see!!!
