Alex Harris ran a 9.47, Erin a 9.56 both on hyper wheels and then Bri and Ashely tied at 9.80 Chad, Jonathan and Kimani are all on Hyper Wheels as well. More Results to come... Danger

Extreme Veteran Posts: 328 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Josh, this will all come to lite soon. Look for a press release to be posted. These wheels are different then any other wheel out there. The hub material allow the wheel to roll much more and has rebound properties so its unlike the current wheels out there. These wheels have been formulated very close together, but to do different things from what I have been told. I am not the chemist so I really cant say. All I know is the last 2 races we have seen great results and they are flying on the track and out of the booth. Danger Racing/CCN Sport will be in Tampa along with Pinnacle Racing so stop by the booths and Jimmy, Jon or my self can help you with your skating needs. We might also have wheel at the NC Meet for those who are going to that as well. Thanks Danger

![]() Veteran Posts: 130 ![]() ![]() Location: Fort Smith, Arkansas | Didn't they all, didn't they all. Your selling the wheels right? But since your not Curt you can't tell me about them? Lol come on guys!!! I just want to know a little more. The Danger site tells me the pink ones are the ones to have. If so, then why even have options? And Im not to "macho man" for pink wheels. Don't get me wrong, one of my favorite things is pink, but it's not color of choice for wheels or shirts. I mean I realize it's 2010, but the average guy looking into our sport isn't going to be excited about getting in a skin tight uniform and some pink wheels!! There is a huge chance he will be made fun of and laughed at. Not saying I would care, but it's a view point. Chad said they are pink so they will be seen. Bright red will stick out too. I'm not trying to be a negitive Nancy, just voting. I'm in the market for a new set of wheels. I've shredded all the wheels I have. And I know I will not be any faster on these wheels. I just want to know what's different between the wheels now. Since I can buy them now. Will they last? Will they work great for 50 laps then burn up? You can tell me everytime these come out that they roll faster, have more rebound, and they are unlike any other wheel out there. What makes it true this time? Don't get me wrong, they are obviously good wheels or guys couldn't run 8sec laps on them. And I wouldnt expect them to be telling people "yea they are just as good as atoms". Ron told me the composite hubs were just as good as the atoms. Lol but he is on atoms again. Something must have happenned there, and may have nothing to do with the wheel. Anyways having top guys helping out on this wheel can only make it better/best. At least you guys aren't saying u have new tech in wheels that have been in them before. Oh and coming out with a "new" frame that's been around for 4 years. Lol Jon bring some wheels to our practice and tell me about them. Our floor is way better!!! We have two dust mops that actually get cleaned every now and then!!! Oh and they get used very often!!!

Hyper Race Admin Posts: 252 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | The difference between the wheels now and the wheels we made in 2009 (Nationals)... is the core. At the 2009 Nationals we had very fast wheels. Some skaters didn't like the core we had because they felt it flexed too much. The urethane was extremely high rebound and very fast! The core was an issue we had already been working on. During Nationals we had two cores that were manufactured...one was a blue composite prototype and the other a machined aluminum core. The Aluminum core being the absolute extreme of the two (our current "Evolution" wheel). The all skaters that have tried (fastest - Average ability) will tell you that the Evolution wheels is definitely THE fastest of any wheel on the market. They have all skated them. Our Composite Core....following a near second. We feel the performance of the new Hyper wheels stems from both the urethane processing and the newly developed cores. In my personal opinion, I must say that the Hyper wheels and formulas have never been manufactured with this much grip and rebound. With that said....the Pink wheels you are hearing reports about, in my opinion have the best grip and fastest roll/rebound. Its not something as a skater you'll be able to get the full guarantee from just hearing what people say really. There's a point to where you'll have to hear as much detail for your comfort level and then when you're ready obviously take that leap of faith to purchase a set and determine for yourself. With all that said, up to this point, the wheels have been prototypes and we are transitioning into our product line as we speak. Our business is small at this juncture....with limited resources. We will be getting all the information up on the site and all the commercialized products in stock in the following days and weeks. We will keep everyone updated. Extreme Veteran Posts: 431 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I must say I saw a lot of people on the pink wheels in Atlanta. They all seemed to be skating well on them. Personally I'd like to try them but since our floors we practice on aren't bad for grip, they aren't great either, so it makes me wonder if because of our floor condition it'd cause me to think not as good of the wheels thus making me scared to try them at a meet when it counts. However, same as Atom wheels, if I were to skate our practice on a set of the green hub meet wheels I'd hate them too. Mix some orange hub and then some black Burns together and I feel I can go as hard as I can without worrying about a fall caused by a wheel. So my biggest question is this, are the pink Hypers grippy enough to get a good feel for them at practice on a floor like I'm describing? Currently I have two sets of the white Kaos wheels with the blue composite hubs in my closet but they are too hard and I don't want to buy the pink ones just to have them wind up in my closet because they are too hard to get a feel for at practice so it scares me to try something new at a meet. Although the way I've skated this year (and last) I don't know why the heck it matters. That being said, I'm going to get on my bike now because I'm going to try to change all of that! Besides I talked junk (more in fun way) to a very fast skater friend of mine at the meet about regionals and I have to at least attempt to back my trash talk up.

Extreme Veteran Posts: 370 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Location: Fort Pierce, FL | My perspective (for what it is worth) and this is coming from someone who bought 5 or 6 sets of Hypers when they first came out and basically had to throw them away. They all had different durometers, wobbled etc.etc.etc. So, I was rather reluctant to get stuck a second time especially since I was more than satisfied with the performance of my Atom wheels. I had heard how well the wheels worked in Seattle but that is not what convinced me to try them. I bought a set of outdoor wheels at Palm Beach and was very pleased about how ell they worked both on the track and the road. I thought if the outdoor wheels worked that well perhaps the indoor wheels would as well. I was very impressed with the roll and the "grippiness" of the pink wheels although with a floor as big as Sparkles and with fresh roll-on I felt it necessary to mix in a couple of the white (3.5G) wheels. My floor is in fairly good shape and I am now experimenting with these wheels at practice. I am still using a combination of pinks and whites on plastic that is 5 months old and having no problems so far. We're running some times with them at tonights practice so we shall begin comparing performance. The only thing I am not sure of yet is durability which can only be determined over time. I was impressed with them enough that in addition to the 5 sets I bought in Georgia I purchased another 2 sets to be delivered in Tampa. I will be recommending these to all my skaters who do not have wheel sponsors they are committed to. Harry

Veteran Posts: 278 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Location: Dallas, Texas | Judging from what I have seen the past couple of months, im questioning my most recent purchase of Atom Wheels. Ive been using them since i started skating three seasons ago, when they were Answer, and have never had a problem with them until recently(well, aside from the loose bearing issue). The wheels roll and grip good enough for me, but for some reason in Atlanta i felt some vibrations in the corners. Given, im not near fast enough for this to really be a problem, but it still kind of sucks given i shelled out over 200 bucks for two sets of wheels (practice set, and meet set) This brings me to my next point. Im on a team with Brian Talley and Michael Ringer and judging from their performances at the Wichita Classic where they were on Atom wheels, and the ATL meet this past weekend where they were on the Hyper pink wheels, im amazed. Their lap times were faster, and they were charging into these corners and coming out with no issues what so ever. Not to mention, Kimani, Jonathan Blair, Jimmy Blair, Chad Horne, and Will Bowen etc. who are always fast, didnt seem to have one single issue with them. I know im just a novice skater but watching these guys go as fast as they wanted into a corner and hold was pretty awesome. And im surprised noone has even brought up the fact that Chad Horne threw on some Orange Hyper wheels that we'd never seen before and ran great!! Which wheels are those?!?!?!?

Extreme Veteran Posts: 328 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Currently there is no Intensirty type wheel in the line up. I did have a few people ask for a softer wheel. You should try the Hyper Green sidewinder outdoor wheels. Because of t he make up of the hub you get some great roll from it and you get the grip of the outdoor wheel. Danger

Hyper Race Admin Posts: 252 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Guys... As I mentioned...all the wheels thus far have been real prototype wheels. We are commercializing all the wheels now. Which includes adding a grip wheel. The following is how it's shaping up. Blue 3G - Grip Wheel (89a) Pink 4G - Fast (91a) Orange 5G- x-fast (92a) This is how we ill sell the wheels going forward. Stay tuned as the become available through dealers and the Hyper Store. Thanks You... Jon Elliott Hyper Racing World Record Wheels LLC Owner/Operator

Extreme Veteran Posts: 328 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | JOHN, those are the proto types for the 5G wheel! Production is full speed ahead now! Hyper Wheels will probably be sold in NC meet by Alex Harris and crew. There will be a limited stock so make sure you see her right away or maybe we can do a pre order to make sure we have enough wheels on hand. Tampa you can stop by and see either Jimmy, Jon or Myself and we can get you what you will need. It will also be the 2nd Outdoor meet for the 2010 Sidewinders. They had overwhelming results at the Palm Beach Challenge, now lets see them take over at both Tampa and NC!

Hyper Race Admin Posts: 252 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Sk8dog, Not sure where you heard that...maybe you 're referring to our fully machined aluminum Core "Evolution" models. The "Evolution" wheels are $24 per wheel. The standard wheels with composite cores are 13.75 per wheel for 110mm and 12.25 per wheel for 100mm. Hope that answers any pricing question you may have. The "Evolution" wheels are for those customers that want the ultimate technology wheel with the fastest possible roll. Thanks, Jon Elliott Hyper Racing World Record Wheels LLC. Owner/Operator
